Interactive Vision In The Life Sciences

Combining speed, precision and ease-of-use, Imaris® Basic and Imaris Full3D provide an impressive range of capabilities for working with three-dimensional images. Move easily between simple and advanced 3D views. Use flexible editing and processing functions. And output to standard TIFF, Quicktime and AVI formats. Imaris accepts virtually all image formats that are used in confocal microscopy and many of those used in wide-field image acquisition.

The Imaris interface has been optimized for ease-of-use and requires no special training. Previews are used extensively to display the impact of image-processing functions. A log of all processing activity is stored with the image.

Since its launch in 1993, Imaris has been installed at leading sites throughout Europe, America, and Japan. Imaris has been chosen as the primary tool for image visualization and analysis by individual investigators as well as operators of leading image-processing centers.
