Faster, More Reliable Dendrite Analysis
NeuronTracer is the first software specifically designed to automatically map and analyze the 3D structure of dendritic trees. It automatically converts a volume image into a graph that retains the topological information of the neuron, such as the branching points of the dendritic tree. As a data structure, the graph stores relevant information including the number of primary branches, length of the centerline, the diameters of segments and the number of branching points. Users can also select nodes or segments and measure directly in the 3D view.
